The Canopy Villa was spotless, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful nature — a perfect place to relax and unwind. The location is great, right in the heart of the community and just a short walk to the beach, Lola’s, and Cabinas Las Olas. Dave, the owner, is super helpful and speaks French fluently (and has lived in the French part of Switzerland!) which made communication very easy. He’s also a talented guitar player! The pool was perfect after a day at the beach, and the property felt very safe and secure. If you’re looking for a peaceful and convenient place to stay in Avellanas, I can’t recommend Pazifico Villas enough. I’ll definitely be back! 🌴🇨🇭

We are a family of 4 ( two teens ) and stayed in the two bedroom bungalow. The pool is in such a great spot that it always has sun which amazed us every day even though it was rainy season.  David, who owns and operates the place takes great care and pride and gave us helpful tips, spots to eat at and places to visit. When we got there, we had cold beers, water and ice along with milk, coffee and everything you’d need. It was such a nice touch and the best part is that he’s easily accessible. Restaurants and the beach are walking distance. We loved it here and we will be back !!!

The place was spotlessly clean, and obviously built and maintained with a high level of care (tons of clean towels, and even some beach kit, like umbrellas etc). The owner was super friendly and responsive - especially in the face of some travel delays on my end. The house itself was easy to find from LIR, and actually a lovely drive. It's about a 5 minute walk to the beach, but honestly the house and grounds were so relaxing, I hardly wanted to leave. Expect to spot some howler monkeys and see land crabs around the property - what a treat! Not sure how it is in the rest of CR, but the wifi at Pazifico was really fast and stable. There are mini supermarkets within walking distance, and a handful of excellent restaurants, so you can easily get the essentials taken care of when you arrive. Will definitely stay there again!

I feel somewhat conflicted about leaving a review, because the selfish part of me would like this place to stay rather unknown and only for me. That said, the truth is that this is an excellent place to stay and Dave (the on-site owner and proprietor) is a superb host. This is our second year staying at Pazifico Villas in the Canopy Villa and we plan to come again next year (and, hopefully, for some years after that). In searching for places to stay in Playa Avellanas, I did do some research (made calls, actually visited other local rentals, etcetera). I found that Pazifico Villas had an edge over similar rentals (which all had two bedrooms and a kitchen) because it had a very engaged owner living nearby. That can make all the difference to a stay. The Canopy Villa is airy and bright. It was very comfortable for the four adults who made up our little group of travelers. My selfish side notwithstanding, it is fantastic all around and I highly recommend it.

Up high, there is usually a nice breeze going through the rooms so when it's hot the heat got swept away.  There is AC if needed. The kitchen is well appointed and Dave was very attentive when we needed anything. The pool is steps away and lovely! This is our second time staying at Pazifico and we are already planning our trip back to Pazifico next year!

He runs an amazing place with several homes that share the most beautiful infinity pool into the jungle.  I've never seen an infinity pool facing the jungle. We enjoyed taking a fresh dip in the pool after a long day at Playa Avellanas. The teens loved the beach which is a 10 minute walk away.  Great waves for surfing or just wading in the water. Lola's nearby was great for dinner with a view but there are so many other great dining spots within walking distance. The villa was clean and beautiful and fulfilled our every need.  Thanks again for a great stay David! We will be coming back! Oh and definitely take the walk through the mangroves on the wooden bridge.  It's an adventure and beautiful photo opportunity!
